Pressure on the Ridges

Around Kloofendal, Roodekrans and the other ridges, water pressure is all about height. Rand Water work on the bulk lines or a Joburg Water main that bursts under a busy road can leave your part of the West Rand without water for a day, sometimes longer. Properties up on the ridges feel it first, because the little pressure that is left can't push water uphill. When supply comes back, the air rushing ahead of it hammers ball valves and old joints. What plumbing services do you offer in Roodepoort?

We've bought an older house in Florida. What should we check first?

Book an inspection. We check how rusted the galvanised supply pipes are, how old and scaled the geyser is, and whether roots have cracked the sewer. You get a short list of what is urgent and what can be planned for later.

Our plot has a long supply line and the bill keeps climbing. Can you help?

Yes. On smallholdings the pipe from the meter to the house can run a long way under the veld. We pressure test and trace the line to find the leak, then repair or replace that stretch.
